Elkfest Sales & Antler Auction

May 18th: Jackson Hole Town Square

Come see the world's best collection of elk antlers (collected by our own Boy Scouts) and bid in the famous Elkfest Elk Antler Auction.

There is a robust market complete with private antlers, paddles, horns, bison skulls, bighorn sheep skulls, and more on the streets surrounding Town Square.

The world-famous Elk Antler Auction will open for bidder registration spring 2024. It's quite a sight to see, even if you are not bidding!

Teton Powwow: Celebration of American Indian Cultures

Central Wyoming College and Native American Jump Start present Teton Powwow: Celebration of American Indian Cultures

Jackson Hole and the surrounding region are ancestral lands for Indigenous Peoples and are valued for their rich natural and scenic resources. Indigenous knowledge keepers share their rich culture, traditions, dance and history at the Annual Teton Powwow.

High Noon Chili Cookoff 

May 19th: Jackson Hole Town Square

The High Noon Chili Cook-off is a spicy highlight of Old West Days in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Local chefs and chili enthusiasts compete in both professional and amateur categories to create the most flavorful and creative chili recipes.

Attendees have the opportunity to sample a variety of chili styles, ranging from mild to hot. Judges and participants will choose their favorites, with winners picked for the judge's and people's choice. Winners will get bragging rights all year!
