Destination Global Sales continues to attend Destination Tradeshows and Sales Mission throughout different markets domestically and internationally. Trade shows and Sales Missions continue to be relevant for our main industry, Tourism. The goal is not to promote Jackson and bring more tourists here, but rather to educate potential visitors and those that send visitors to our area on when to come and what to expect during their time of interest. DGS is just one of many facets in the overall scheme of educating potential visitors, whereas all efforts are to continue to keep the “pipeline” of guests coming to our area adequate to maintain levels of visitation.
DESTINATION SALES TRADE SHOW APPLICATION
As requested by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce (JHCC), the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board has provided monies to support acquiring booth space at several key Destination Tradeshows along with the support of Sales Missions to International Markets.
JHCC will attend each show/mission to represent our destination at large and is currently seeking applications for businesses to accompany JHCC as Destination Representatives at these events. As in the past, costs to attend these events are minimal. The intention is to continue to offer attendance at a very affordable rate compared to attending the show yourself or in comparison to standard practices of other DMO’s.
DESTINATION SALES TRADE SHOW FEATURED REPRESENTATION APPLICATION
The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce has received support from the Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board to attend Travel Trade Shows focused on driving tourism to our community in the fall, winter, and Spring Months. The shows selected have been vetted by a cross-section of local Sales & Marketing professionals in the Tourism Industry. Representation at the Trade Shows will benefit the entire community as we focus on tourism outside of the summer months.
Although Chamber Members and the community will be generally represented, you have the opportunity for your business to have FEATURED REPRESENTATION, highlighting your business specifically to meeting planners, tour operators, and consumers planning to come to our community at the various trade shows we travel to.
