During the Fall Arts Festival, locals and visitors can walk the streets of Jackson and elsewhere while experiencing the latest gallery shows, artist exhibitions, showcases, and more. This year, there will be three unique gallery walk formats to experience: Palates & Palettes, a local favorite; the annual Jackson Hole Gallery Association Art Walk; and the traditional closing of Fall Arts with the Sunday Art Brunch.

Palates & Palettes

Ask any local in the valley what their favorite Fall Arts event is, and they will all likely give you the same answer, why it is Palates & Palettes, of course! Every year, on the first Friday of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, Jackson's famed galleries and renowned restaurants come together for a gallery walk unlike any other. Each gallery pairs with a restaurant to offer carefully crafted cocktails, drinks, and delectable hors d'oeuvres that pair perfectly with their current gallery showings. With the high concentration of galleries in the Town of Jackson, Palates & Palettes is a great way to start a Friday night while enjoying cocktails and light food. Spend enough time walking the town, and you are sure to see familiar faces and old friends or make new ones if you are visiting from out of town! Palates & Palettes will occur on Friday, September 6th, from 5 – 8 PM, in the Town of Jackson.

Jackson Hole Gallery Association Art Walk

Next is the annual Jackson Hole Gallery Association Art Walk on September 11th, from 5 – 8 PM. Held yearly during the Fall Arts Festival, the Jackson Hole Gallery Association Artwalk celebrates all of Jackson's famed galleries. Walk the Town Square and experience Jackson's galleries' latest works, newest artists, and more! This year, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, two of the association's galleries will be host to both of this year's Fall Arts Festival Featured Artists during the art walk! This year's Featured Painter, Roger Ore of West Lives On Gallery, will be at West Lives On to sign limited edition Fall Arts posters depicting his Featured Piece, Nature's Playground. Posters will be available for purchase at the event. Roger Ore will be at West Lives On Gallery from 5 – 7 PM. This year's Featured Sculptor, Bryce Pettit of Mountain Trails Gallery will also be at his respective gallery to sign limited edition posters of his Featured Sculpture, Born and Raised. Born and Raised is an exquisite bronze cast sculpture depicting a majestic Bald Eagle perched atop a branch. Bryce Pettit will be at Mountain Trails Gallery from 5 – 7 PM during the Jackson Hole Gallery Association Art Walk. Not sure where to start? Stop by the information tent on Town Square during the festival and pick up a gallery guide and other helpful information.

Sunday Art Brunch

The final gallery walk of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival is the traditional closing of the festival with the Sunday Art Brunch. The Sunday Art Brunch sees Jackson galleries offering breakfast bites, mimosas, bloody marys, and more in a perfect blend of art and cuisine. At the event, you can leisurely stroll the Town of Jackson while enjoying the crisp fall air, sampling small bites, eating breakfast cocktails, drinking coffee, and more. Locals will tell you that the closing of the Fall Arts Festival and the Sunday Art Brunch are not an event to miss!
